There are 2 tests giving us a total of 24 of the most common allergens, 12 of which are Inhaled Allergens the other 12 being Food Allergens
The Patient can decide to have either test depending on their individual requirements or it may be necessary to have both tests performed where appropriate.
The test involves a sample of blood being taken from the patient by a simple finger prick to obtain 2-3 drops of blood. The procedure itself only takes a few minutes but it is sometimes necessary to take a detailed history from the patient to determine the most appropriate test for them.
The blood sample is then processed within 24 hours of the sample being taken & a report is prepared & sent to the patient within a couple of days.
A follow up consultation is arranged as required to discuss;
A quantitive laboratory test may be required to confirm the results.
It is necessary to book an appointment for this test.
